Synopsis

Cyber-agent Motoko Aramaki remains hot on the trail of the shadowy terrorists making life hell for Poseidon Industrial. Motoko deploys a cyborg surrogate, Chroma, for on-the-ground operations to pick up needed information, but while waiting for an e-brain private eye to pony up the data, Chroma is jacked into a no-holds-barred virtual combat game--at least she hopes it's virtual! The synapse-frying followup to the manga/anime heavyweight champion, Ghost in the Shell, Shirow Masamune's Man-Machine Interface crushes to powder any previous notions of what is or is not a comic book with its dizzying storyline and cutting-edge, digitally enhanced visuals, unlike anything comics have ever offered. Special deluxe format with no interior advertising!
